Darien Republicans,

Thank you to everyone who showed up on Monday night. What a sight. As I stated at the caucus, I have never seen such a crowd of enthusiastic, energetic, and friendly people gathered for the sole purpose of supporting one another. The overwhelming theme of the night was community.

The Darien Republicans had a record number of registered electors show up, attesting to the strength and will of our town. A clear message was sent that when Darien Republicans are called to action, they answer that call with overwhelming support.

The Darien Republican Town Committee is a group of 21 dedicated and competent individuals, elected, but then volunteering their time and energy, away from work and families. The character of these individuals is unmatched, enabling the group of 21 to achieve great success. Thank you to the Petitioning Candidates for stepping up, getting the necessary signatures for their petitions, and for their speeches at the caucus.

While I encourage everyone to celebrate this win of unity and strength, we must now shift our focus to the next task, which will be here very soon: choosing and endorsing candidates for the 2026 Municipal Elections.

The Darien Republican Town Committee is committed to transparency and community, so please ask how you can get involved and help. You don’t have to be an official member of the DRTC to be involved, and the Executive Team will soon review and publish available opportunities.

A special thanks to those who made the proceedings of the 2026 Darien Republican Caucus a success, including James Palen, Cara Gately, Christa McNamara, John Sini, Brent Hayes, and Alex Davidson. Their dedication and care were essential to ensuring an orderly and professional caucus.

Thank you, to each and every one of you, for helping make Darien the best town in the state for all residents.
